💐What is a zine? A zine is "most commonly a small circulation publication of original or appropriated texts and images." This project is specifically catered to a wedding-themed GoYuu celebration.💐What's the rating and limitations of this project? This project is going to be rated M (for mature). We are open to AUs and welcome depictions of different cultural traditions and rituals of marriage!We will not be including explicitly heavy topics and dark tropes.💐Who can participate in this project? Moderators and contributors must be 18+. Age (range) must be indicated in any one of the socials provide during the application process. Anyone caught lying is subject to be removed and blacklisted.We are also anti-harassment and anti-censorship; the mods are profic and proship. Therefore, those uncomfortable with GoYu are encouraged not to interact with this project and to block/mute us!💐What will be included in this project? We are hoping to include both fanart and fanfiction. The number of contributors is to be determined after interest check closes.In regards to ship dynamic, we are not strict and will allowed both GojoxYuuji and YuujixGojo interpretation.💐This would be great as a physical; would you reconsider doing it as a physical zine? At this time, Infinity With Us is firmly a free digital. The mods are busy and simply want to do this project out of pure passion as well as give those newer to zines a greater chance of participating. We are also aware of the multiple JJK zines currently running and that one also has a wedding theme; we are not looking to compete or involve finances. More than anything, this is a passion project made by the community for the community at no cost!That being said, based on how successful this run is, the co-heads are very interested in producing a physical second volume that may or may not include physical merch as well at a future date.
Things to Do
General Application Guidelines
You must be 18+ for the entire duration of the project to participate.
Communication will be done via Discord and email. You must have both in the entire duration of the project to continue participating.
All links provided cannot require a permission, password, or account to access. This will result in your application being thrown out.
You must be able to abide to zine scheduling, and respond and complete tasks in a timely manner.
You must remain in communication with the mod team, especially to important updates and check-ins. You will be given a warning and a short grace period to respond before any official actions will be made.
Guidelines for Moderator Applicants
Mods will participate in the creation and maintainance of the zine's Discord server.
Mods will be asked to take part in application judgement. The Art Mod must judge artist apps, and the Writing Mod must judge writer apps.
Art Mod: You will keep track of our artists and ensure that all work follows zine expectations. You will answer art-related questions as well as help with any issues related to the project.
Layout Mod: You will create appealing graphics with the theme in mind to keep our social media platform appealing and lively, including preview templates and spotlights. You will work closely with the Social Media Mod.
Formatting Mod: You will create and put together all zine work into a single digital media.
If possible, some, if not all, of the aforementioned mod positions may be combined.
Guidelines for Artist Applicants
You must provide three (3) main samples of your best work. Each sample must a individual piece only.
One (1) of your main samples must be GoYuu-focused.
Your three (3) main samples should be full pieces; WIPs/sketches are not allowed.
You may provide a portfolio, and it may include your three main samples.
If accepted, you are expected to create and complete a new original art piece. Zine specifications are to come.
Guidelines for Writer Applicants
You must provide three (3) main samples of your best work.
Each sample must be between 1.5-3k words.
One (1) of your main samples must be GoYuu-focused.
Excerpts are allowed, but one (1) sample must be a completed piece. All samples should be read as standalones.
You may provide a portfolio, and it may include your three main samples.
If accepted, you are expected to create and complete a new original fic piece between 1.5-3k words.
